Getting ready for Valentine's Day

I remember loving Valentine's Day as a child. Getting to pick the perfect cards for all my friends & creating a Valentine box out of a shoe box. Well, they are doing Valentine's day at Lilee's school & she is just as excited!!!

Just a quick post of these pictures. Lilee was being silly & she asked me to take her picture. Of course my camera isn't far away at all times, so I was ready. First off she wanted to pose her way.......






Then after a few minutes, she was ready with another pose....





and then she was done for the day!

Happy New Year....just a few days late....as always right!!!! Daddy usually has to work on New Years Eve, so every year Lilee & I have our own party! This year we had a movie night, which Lilee LOVED, she even got to stay up late though not until 12am. I think for her 9:30 is late =D Here are a few photos from our movie night...

What a great start to 2010!!

Fun times at Maw & PopPop's

We had such a fun, relaxing time & we didn't want to come home! Lilee loved bossing..I mean playing with her cousins & her PopPop. She has them all tied around her finger! It really was a wonderful week of Christmas!!

The next day it was time for the Gingerbread house! Lilee & her cousin Ty (and sometimes Daddy) worked hard on their creation




We went to Christmas Eve mass & then on to the festivies at Chuck's Aunts house for a delicious meal & opening of presents!

It was time to put out the reindeer food! Lilee shared it with her cousins Ty & Austin



Christmas morning Lilee actually slept in, she woke up & went to PopPop's room & he told her to come & wake us up before she could see what Santa brought & she was so precious about it too, coming over to my side of the bed & she touched my hand & said, "Mom, Santa came, you want to see what he brought you"


This is the first thing she spotted & she even posed as a Chipmunk

The day we were leaving Ty brought out another Gingerbread house kit. It makes miniature houses! Of course Lilee just had to build one! Even Aunt Mandy helped!







So, here we go, everything is packed & we are on our way home and Daddy mentions that maybe Santa came to our house too! So the whole trip home we have this little girl just wondering if Daddy could drive faster!!!
When we pull into the driveway, she hasn't forgotten what Daddy said, so she runs into the house & bypasses the trees downstairs to bolt upstairs to her room to see if there are presents up stairs & by golly....sure enough Santa had come to our house too!! He spoils us very much because it was fun going to all the trees & seeing MORE presents!!!

Aren't we forgetting something???

I can't believe that it is December 1st! Where did this year go??? The first thing Lilee asked me when I got home from work is "isn't today we get to put the bear in the 1 hole?" I must have looked confused, but she insisted "I get to eat chocolate too! I then remembered her beloved Mickey Santa countdown to Christmas & her advent calender! She had waited till I got home from work so we could do it together! Thanks Monkey!!
