These two think of some of the most fun things....at least to themselves!

We are settling in just nice here. I can't believe it has been 8 weeks already! Samuel is doing so well. He understands EVERYTHING we tell him & when he doesn't... here comes Lilee to the rescue. I love their relationship, I hope it stays like this forever. Lilee had a hard time at first you know...sharing her parents & her things, but she really has made us proud of how she is settling in herself.

Yipee!!! We are back in business!

Sorry about the absence! But, here we go....

We traveled to Taiwan the last week in January & we were excited. We had made a paper chain to count down the days so Lilee would know when we were leaving....

it turned out to be a good idea! This was the day we were leaving!!!

She was so excited as if you couldn't tell, she had so much fun on the planes, I was so proud of her...








We are almost there....


Once we checked into our hotel at 7am we finally got to relax! This bed was so comfortable compared to China! And yes, all 4 of us fit just fine in it!!!

Jet lag had kicked in!!!



Lilee's Aunt Jessica made her this "fan" of her family so they all were with us in Taiwan....



The first time we were together. We picked him up from the Orphanage & we were able to spend 5 hours with him & then take him back. When we first got to the orphanage he knew IMMEDIATELY who we were. He keep saying BaBa (father) & Jie Jie (sister) he was so happy & excited to go with us. Our first stop McDonalds! He told the nannies that is where he wanted to go, so off we went...








We then went to a few tourist spots & then back to the hotel for the remanider of the time....

He was so sweet with Baba, Chuck had to carry him practically everywhere!

Usually, when you get to Taiwan you visit with your child & get him like on the 3rd or 4th day. Samuel was so happy that he told his nannies that he wanted to go with us, they were all shocked. But our little sweetie was ready to be a part of our family & we were so thankful that he wasn't scared at all! That was a big blessing!



We got him a backpack just like Lilee's & he LOVED it. He was so proud of his backpack & was excited to keep empyting it & refilling it.

These are the only 2 pictures I took on the plane. Of course if you notice Samuel is standing in his seat, something he liked to do often, well that & push his call button for the flight attendent to come to our row. Thank goodness he fell asleep for like 6 hours, that was much needed






So, we are home & adjusting. Lilee & Samuel are mostly the best of friends of course they have their moments. As for teaching him English, well that didn't happen, so we are learning with each other. He knows about 35-40 words & uses them correctly. But, we are home & working on it, our doctor said to give him a full 6 months, so we have some time!!!

Yipeeee, the final touch the baseboards will be put in today!!!! I'm hoping to have a computer by tomorrow!! I have lots of pictures for you all!!!!! Thanks for hanging in there!

Well, did you think I was gone for good?

Lets see..... Our basement flooded so I don't have a computer & we have a new edition... Samuel. Yep, we flew over & are already back'! I will post pictures just as soon as I can. Out carpet is coming on Monday

What a great Christmas

We had so much fun this Christmas! Lilee loved it all this year. She knew that we had to do cookies & milk & she didn't forget about the reindeer either! She was so good, when it was time for her to go to bed, she didn't protest at all. Our New Years Eve was also fun...Daddy was off for the first time in I can't remember!! We hope your Christmas was just as wonderful.....BRING ON 2011!!!
