Samuel is 6!!!!

Well my baby is officially 6! I can't believe he is that old! He used to be just a baby now, a big boy!! We had a party just the 4 of us on his actual birthday with dinner at Cheddars, cards & cupcakes...then we had his family party the following weekend with PRESENTS!!! The funny thing is he was so good, he never asked to open presents!! We had to tell him it was time!! He is such a sweetie!!

A Very Merry Christmas

Well, can you believe it? Christmas is over! Just as quick as it came, it is gone! We had an interesting Christmas! Samuel was diagnosed with step after running a fever for 2 days on Christmas Eve. He was a trooper though & powered through. Of course the doctor told us he was contagious & to stay away from people, but he had already exposed all of my family! So, with meds every 4 hours he managed to enjoy Christmas...now Lilee has it & Chuck & I have bronchitis! So...MERRY CHRISTMAS INDEED!! Our day started with our Elf Pickle wishing us well....

A very Merry Christmas!!

We had breakfast with Santa!!!!! We surprised the kids & it was an awesome time!! Lilee kept saying "I'm hungry, WHERE are we going!!!" She didn't understand that she was about to meet Santa!! Lilee has met the jolly old elf before, but this was Samuel's first time & let me just say....he did NOT disappoint!!! Here are their pictures with Santa himself!! Christmas season is upon us...

Well, here we are in December & the year has flown by! We enjoyed Thanksgiving with Daddy's family & it was such a beautiful day! If you can believe it I took one picture...yes only ONE picture.....this is after Thanksgiving dinner at Maw & PopPop's house...

We had our lighting ceremony outside & the kids were beyond excited...

Our elf Pickle made his debut today & the kids knew it since it is Dec. 1st...they didn't even wake us up before going & finding him & THEN waking us up to tell us where he was! I love the holidays thru a child's eyes!! We are ready for this holiday season and as always we are thankful for our family!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!

Yay!! It is officially Christmas here at our household! We have a trees up, now all we need is our outside decorations done!! The kids are SOOOOO excited & they love their trees. Samuel moved up to a big boy tree this year, he doesn't have the 4' tree anymore, Daddy went out & got him his new tree & had it up when he got home from school....excitement was in the air!! Here they are decorating their trees.... This is the first ornament on the tree...he picked it out of all his ornaments...

This is Lilee's choice for number one ornament....

Halloween-ween

The kids had a nice Halloween I would say...lots of candy = success in their minds!! We went trunk or treating at our new school the Saturday before Halloween & had a lot of fun & then of course trick or treating with Lilee's BFF Emma on Wednesday!! This is sad for Lilee this year because this will probably be her last trick or treating with Emma because she is moving, but we sure had fun this year!! The kids picked their costumes all on their own this year, I wasn't allowed to help & they didn't like my idea of matching each other...so I give you W0nder W0men & Jake the pirate...
