It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Well, I don't know about you, but for our family Christmas begins right after Halloween. Christmas music is played in the car, movies are watched & our trees are up!! Now, we love Thanksgiving and are blessed each year to be able to be with family, but we also enjoy Christmas!! The kids just get so excited, you can't help but join in their excitement!!

Halloween has come & gone!

Well, Happy Belated Halloween! First, we painted pumpkins & baked cookies last Saturday & the kids loved it! Lilee is obsessed with rainbows so you will see a theme & Samuel...well he just likes paint!

Halloween came and it was a horrible day!! Storms, rain, winds up to 40mph....so, our friends (Lilee's BFF) and us decided that we would go to the mall....well us and about 3,000 other people, lets just say...after 6 MINIATURE tootsie rolls & 6 stores in what seemed to be an hour we decided that we would just go to Emma's grandparents house and trick or treat them....it ended up not raining for about 20 minutes so we let the kids go to a few houses and then it started raining again......BUT Lilee said it best "Mom, you took a bad day and made it great" So, I got the good mom of the year award yesterday!!!!

Pumpkin Patch

What a gorgeous time of year! I just love it! Today was so beautiful & we had time to go to the pumpkin patch, but first I took their picture with our burning bush...they are really starting to turn & they are my favorite in the fall!!!

The kids had a blast at the pumpkin patch & it doesn't cost us a penny...well the pumpkins do...but the playing & hay mazes are all free!!!

Fall is here!!

Yay!! Fall is here!! We are loving it!! We haven't been up to much...tennis is now over & gymnastics is back in the fold!! Nothing much going on here....except this week is fall break! Hopefully we make a visit to the pumpkin patch, which I will post here!! As always my FAVORITE thing....holiday pajama's!!! Here they are....my little monsters!!

Look who got glasses....

Well....Lilee failed her eye exam for the third grade...so we went to the eye doctor & she has a VERY bad astigmatism...not sure how she has passed all the other eye exams...but here we are!! She picked out two pairs & after waiting for TWO WEEKS!!! we finally have them and she loves them...now decisions on which pair to wear...it's like another accessory (which Lilee LOVES)!!

Tennis

Well school is going just swimmingly.....third grade is a HUGE adjustment for Lilee, we are getting by, but hopefully it starts to flow in the coming weeks. Samuel is rocking kindergarten & he is being the big helper this year & showing the kids how to behave & what to do & not do....Tennis has started and we are moving right along...Lilee just picked up from last year & is loving it & Samuel is thrilled they have included kindergarten this year! They both love it....not the heat...just the game!!!
