Jump Rope Camp

Lilee attended jump rope camp this week & loved it!! She wasn't sure if any of her friends were doing it and she did it anyway!! I'm so proud that she took that leap that she might just be the only one there...that is huge for my shy little girl!!! She learned different ways of jumping and it turned out 2 of her friends ending up being in the camp as well...here she is showing off just a few of her new skills!!

Yep...it is that time of year...

Well, can you believe it??? School is right around the corner...we have a 3rd grader & a kindergardener!! We went school shopping the other day & wow...does Lilee need supplies!!! Samuel we knew what to expect because of last year, but Lilee's list was LONG!! Here they are with their supplies...

Proud Momma

I had a proud Momma moment on Saturday....Samuel had to get new shoes for school since his foot has grown a ton!! His new shoes have ties, which he has no idea how to tie shoes, since his old ones were velcro....so we get home from the shoe store & I go about my business, then I hear Lilee say "Samuel, I'll teach you how to tie"...then they spent the next 1/2 hour teaching & learning...he still needs some work, but he did it!!!

Well as most of you know I'm a FREAK when it comes to pj's!!! I LOVE them!! Lilee is starting to outgrow pj's but I'm still putting her in them!!! I forgot to take a picture of their Disney pj's...so they obliged me the other day to let me take their picture!!! Since we were at Disney...they HAD to have Disney pj's....

4th of July

Well our fourth of July was a bust!! It rained the WHOLE day!!! But we made the most of it and dressed in our red, white & blue anyway! We watched tennis, played games and even had the kids favorite....chocolate strawberries!!! They were bummed no fireworks, hopefully next year. Lilee went all out this year with her patriotic spirit, she got to change her earrings for the first time & we HAD to have red, white & blue ones....being a girl is fun!!!

They made Daddy king for the afternoon....here he is on his royal throne!

We ended the day with the berries....we hope you had a good fourth!

We ROCKED Orlando!!!!

We had the best vacation at Disney this year! Samuel has been preparing for this for a year! He was pumped!! He knew we were going...and he NEVER quit asking WHEN we were going!!! So, in the van we piled and headed to FL. It was exciting because we got to meet our new nephew & cousin we had never met (we missed them at Christmas)!! So, we were excited!! We ALL stayed in a 4 bedroom presidential suite...it was awesome & the kids loved being all together! Bedtimes were late & my kids couldn't have been more exhausted!! We found them in the kids room like this often....all playing the same game & yes Lilee went down that slide....Samuel was too small!! Maybe next time!!

Next up was T-Rex restaurant...I highly recommend it! The kids love it & hey the adults like it too!!!

Magic Kingdom day....we decided that was the park we all wanted to go to...something for everyone....well...it was, hmmmm interesting...the day started out perfect....sunshine...perfect....then after about 4 hours RAIN CAME DOWN!!! I mean there was no where to go...we were stuck in the park with NO SHELTER...we were soaked to say the least!!!! My parents & one of my sisters chose to go home for the day but not us or my older sister!! No sir!!! We stuck it out soaked clothes and all & stayed all night! The only down side is I only got a few pictures & in the pouring rain, I had given my camera to my sister with a plastic bag & when they left...my camera left too.....so only a few pictures....but LOTS of memories!!!

The next day we had breakfast with the Characters at Chef Mickey & I would do it again in a heartbeat...worth every penny!!! We loved it!

Then of course we had to build a dino!!!

Then more swimming....Samuel entered into a splash contest....I'll let his splash speak for itself!!!

Then it was Ms. Lilee's 8th Birthday....this Momma can't believe it...but yep...we now have an 8 year old.....We went out to a Mexican restaurant for her dinner & she was sang to and she got to keep the hat!!! Pretty cool day for her!!!

Then the last day..we headed out to dinner at Benehanna...it was scrumptious!!!

The day we left....sad day for us all!!! See ya real soon Mickey!!!
