You are warned.....long post ahead!!

We hope everyone had a great 4th!! We did! We went to Chuck's parents house for a long overdue visit! Chuck actually had some time off & it was wonderful to be able to spend this holiday with his family!

We had so much fun & it really felt like a vacation! Lilee had a blast with her cousins Sarah & Amber & I'm pretty sure if she had a choice she would ask for a bigger sister...not a little one :D

We spent the 4th at Chuck's Aunt's house on the river & it rained at first, but then cleared up a little & we were able to have a cornhole tournament & enjoy being outside just chatting & having fun! Of course there was delicious food, as always.

They girls were throwing apples into the river & Lilee just loved it...

So determined going to get more apples! (I love the look on her face)

Lilee got the nerve up to actually catch a lightening bug AND let it crawl on her!! Way better than Mommy! She had a blast looking for them & then bringing them over for Mommy to admire!








Then once it started getting dark fireworks started & let's just say....Lilee not a big fan of the NOISE! Now, she loved the actual fireworks, but the noise....not so much!
That is why you see this picture.....Mommy & Lilee enjoying the fireworks in the car!

Then Saturday, we went swimming at the pool where Daddy used to swim when he was growing up! It was really nice & Lilee, as always, loved being the center of attention! She brought along a pony & Sarah, Amber & their friend Chelsea would dive after it & Lilee just thought that was hilarious!

Saturday night we went to a delicious pizza place on the river & it was so pretty, of course it was a little rainy but we just had to take pictures during a break in the weather. You gotta love the "cheese" face!



We had so much fun over the holiday & we wish we could have stayed even longer!!
