Happy New Year!

This New Years was so much fun! Lilee was in the mood to party! Last year she was in bed by 8pm. This year Mommy let her stay up till 10pm. We had a Pretty Princ@ss New Year's Party!! Chuck has worked every New Year's since I can remember, so it was just us girls in our PJ's having a blast.... We are going to make some Princ@ss cupcakes in Lilee's "cool" bake oven (it bakes with ice) Getting ready to stir up the mix Putting the batter in the cup cake pans Lilee is pointing out the "before" photo and this is the after! Decorating is serious business! Tasting is MUCH more fun! A neat picture with Lilee shaking her sprinkles on! The cook is proud of her cup cakes!! Cheers to a "delicious" creation! (Hopefully you can't detect the sarcasm!) Then it was time for the makeup & jewelry session of our evening! She is quite the makeup artist! Showing her pretty jewelry How does this thing work?

Christmas!

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas! We sure did. We had so much fun at Maw & PopPop's house, I was sure that Lilee would cry when we drove away :D I loved seeing her participate in the traditions that Chuck grew up with. I had always dreamed of what Christmas would be like once I became a Mother and let me just say.....I couldn't have imagined the ACTUAL joy that it would bring me! Last year was amazing because it was our first Christmas as a family, this year I just can't believe it was even better. The food, the family & the traditions, I will always cherish!!!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a lot of fun! Lilee did so well at Mass, I was worried because she is not used to sitting in the pew. At our Church we sit in the back along the wall with our friends & she isn't really contained. So, we were very proud of her. After Mass we went to Chuck's Aunt & Uncle's house, to eat DELICIOUS food & open presents. Lilee was all about opening presents this year, she couldn't wait!

Yipee!!! We are now DSL!!! I really can't believe it myself that we were still on dial up! But that is so yesterday! hahahahah

Now for the rest of the 23rd....
In between baking all the kids (okay & the adults) were checking to see if we had made it on the nice or naughty list. Everyone but Chuck made it! :D

December 23rd

This was Lilee's first time decorating Christmas cookies with her cousins & she had so much fun!! Maw even got Lilee & I matching gingerbread aprons that were too cute!! The picture is below...

Rewind to December 21st

I will be doing multiple posts to catch up on all that I'm behind! I will post like we have gone back in time :D

We are celebrating Christmas with Chuck's side of the family this year. We take turns every year with the major holidays. I'm so glad that Chuck is as close to his family as I am to mine. It is so wonderful for both of us to be loved by our other set of parents, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles.......we have terrific families, and we are oh so blessed.
