Just a few bath time pictures.....

About a month ago (I know a little late in posting these), Daddy had to give Lilee a bath. Why you ask is that such a big deal....well.....Lilee is 3 now & THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME EVER that Daddy had given her a bath! Shocking isn't it! I had hurt my back & I couldn't bend over so he had to do it....it looks like Lilee didn't mind!






Lilee got these "paper" dolls for the bathtub from Aunt Sarah & Uncle Daniel & she loves them! You can dress them & they have accessories even. It is a great present!





Just an FYI, we won't be posting for a week we leave for vacation (or as Lilee says Bay-Ca-Shun) tomorrow!!

Lilee's first Premiere!

Hello, my name is Amanda & I'm a *Hallmark ornament a*ddict....and Lilee will be too!

I do have to admit,my mother in law actually got me hooked on them!! My sister in laws love them too (so...it's all their fault right) ahahahahahahahaha! I love their tree! It is so full of these neat ornaments that they have collected over the years. Lilee loves to touch them all & watch & listen as a lot of them move & play!

Little did I know 10+ years later....I'm a full blown ad*dict! I love them & the second weekend in July is so much fun...except for the second week in October (I know can you believe they do it TWICE!!

Now......if I could convince Daddy to put the trees up early!!!!

Lilee got a laptop for her birthday & she LOVES it! When she saw it the first thing she said was... "It's like Daddy's" followed by "I have to check my email"

Do you think we are on our computers much????

We hope everyone had a great 4th!! We did! We went to Chuck's parents house for a long overdue visit! Chuck actually had some time off & it was wonderful to be able to spend this holiday with his family!

We had so much fun & it really felt like a vacation! Lilee had a blast with her cousins Sarah & Amber & I'm pretty sure if she had a choice she would ask for a bigger sister...not a little one :D

We spent the 4th at Chuck's Aunt's house on the river & it rained at first, but then cleared up a little & we were able to have a cornhole tournament & enjoy being outside just chatting & having fun! Of course there was delicious food, as always.


She is contemplating her next move!!



They girls were throwing apples into the river & Lilee just loved it...

So determined going to get more apples! (I love the look on her face)

Lilee got the nerve up to actually catch a lightening bug AND let it crawl on her!! Way better than Mommy! She had a blast looking for them & then bringing them over for Mommy to admire!








Then once it started getting dark fireworks started & let's just say....Lilee not a big fan of the NOISE! Now, she loved the actual fireworks, but the noise....not so much!
That is why you see this picture.....Mommy & Lilee enjoying the fireworks in the car!

Then Saturday, we went swimming at the pool where Daddy used to swim when he was growing up! It was really nice & Lilee, as always, loved being the center of attention! She brought along a pony & Sarah, Amber & their friend Chelsea would dive after it & Lilee just thought that was hilarious!

Saturday night we went to a delicious pizza place on the river & it was so pretty, of course it was a little rainy but we just had to take pictures during a break in the weather. You gotta love the "cheese" face!



We had so much fun over the holiday & we wish we could have stayed even longer!!

In my "garden" I have 2 Hydrangea's. One we have had for 3 years, and the first year it bloomed with 2 flowers, the last two years NOTHING, I had even forgotten what color it was! This years is a WHOLE different story!

This was when it was first blooming & I just had to take pictures of these beautiful blooms because who knows how long it will last & oh yea it is BLUE!


This is Lilee beside it so you can see how BIG it is!


Then for Mother's Day Chuck got me a pink one because he knows that they are one of my favorite flowers! I was so happy when it started blooming!

I love these big beautiful blooms!


Now, a month & some later..............


YIPEE!!!!

After taking pictures of the flowers we decided we would blow bubbles, one of Lilee's favorite things to do....correction...one of Lilee's favorite things for MOMMY to do!
