Bedtime

Lilee has never really been into soft toys. She loves her FuFu & blanket when she goes to bed, but as far as any other stuffed toys....not so much.

She LOVES hard toys, you know the small plastic ones like the Princess sets from Disney, Super Hero's, Little Pet Shop, etc.... So, imagine our surprise when about 2 months ago, she started requesting different soft toys to go to bed with her. Sure, I didn't mind as long as she still fits in the bed, whatever she wants in there with her is fine by me. Now, I think she is outnumbered in her bed!

Really, do I have to go to bed now?

The visit went great, I have no idea why I worry so much! But, hopefully our homestudy will be complete in a few days & all we have to do is wait for the coveted 171-H!! That is the paperwork from immigr@tion that says we are approved to send our paperwork to ChinA! I just wanted to give you an update!

I had a terrific birthday weekend! My Mom, Dad & nephew came on Thursday to surprise me. Lilee & Zaiah got to spend some one on one time & they had a blast. We had Popsicles that night & they loved them!

I think I have such a wonderful husband! He is very thoughtful & romantic with his gifts, I am very lucky!This is one of our dossier pictures!

On Friday my younger sister & her other two boys & husband came & surprised me! It was a really good weekend. Saturday Chuck took us out to my FAVORITE place to eat a Hibachi restaurant....yummmmmmm! Sarah's boys had never been to one & they LOVED it! All of our babies have mastered eating with chopsticks. Now the adults are a different story! ahahahahaha





My birthday of course has always been special, but now it will always be...the day our adoption became final in China! Our Gotcha day was April 24th & of course my birthday the 25th, Lilee's very first present to me.....a smile and I will never forget it! So, we celebrated for her as well....she LOVES balloons so, she got a balloon & along with my ice cream birthday cake, she got one too!


It was a great 21st birthday day...oops I mean 33rd! :D

Mei Mei

Mei Mei is a new word around our house! It is Chinese for sister.
That's right, as you may or may not know we are finishing our paperwork for #2! We have our social worker visit tomorrow and you would think the second time around would be a little easier, but NOPE! We still have to do all the same paperwork as last time! We are very excited & it depends on the day but, if you ask Lilee at the right moment....she is excited as well!

We met with some great friends awhile back at Gati Town & just had a blast, for some reason I forgot to post the pictures, but here they are.....

We love this family! Our daughters are the same age & they are from the same Province. We literally passed in the air coming home, we were on our way home & they were on their way to China! They are ahead of us for #2 & they have helped us with questions for our paperwork for #2. They have been such a safe place for us to go & ask questions & they never care to help! We just know Lilee & Leah will have a close bond forever & hopefully our newest daughters will too!

I can't believe it has been two years! What a FAST two years it has been. To be able to say that you are my daughter, is the best blessing & gift that I have ever been given! Again, words fail me.

Friday night

I'm sorry that I didn't post an "all better" update & we hope no one lost sleep over it (hahahahahaha) Lilee is feeling 100% better & all is well in our household! Hopefully, we will NOT have to see Nebby for awhile!

This past weekend we had so much fun! Lilee & I headed over to my sister's house for the whole weekend & we spent some much needed time with Lilee's "boys" as she calls them! She also got some Gaga & Papa time!

Friday night we went bike riding! Okay, you know the old saying "It's like riding a bike", well I have NO idea who came up with that saying, but SHEESH I have not been on a bike in probably 18 yrs. & it was hard at first I'm not going to lie! My brother in law has a seat on the back of his bike for when they all go bike riding together for Isaiah, he asked if Lilee might want to try it. I thought she would FREAK out, #1 she has never been on a bike & #2 she had to wear a helmet. Let me tell you she LOVED it!!! I told Chuck that we might have to purchase a bike & keep it at my sister's house for when we go there! I even had fun! (fyi....we couldn't ride bikes where we live, TOO many hills & no sidewalks!)

New Friend

Lilee has a new friend. She just met him yesterday, she was a little afraid of him at first, but she was a trooper & they became great friends.......

Our poor girl, just can't knock her cough! So, BACK to the doctor we went yesterday & now she becomes a Super Her0 3 times a day for 5 days!! BUT...if she isn't doing MUCH better by Thursday, we have to go back......SCARY!!! But, we are praying that by Thursday she is NO LONGER COUGHING!!!

We are loving spring!

We had such a nice run of TERRIFIC weather & we took advantage of it :D We went to the park & I thought for sure she would love it this year, but nope! She only liked the "Red big goul swing" & the wooden bridge (on the big kid side of the park mind you) well, I will keep trying!!
